2020

  • Louisiana State University National Championship Football 2019 art piece unveiled at the Lod Cook Alumni Center and Hotel (which already features Benjamin’s LSU artwork since 1996 and is available at the alumni store)

2019

  • “Artist of the Year” honor given by the Arts Council of the Brazos Valley.
  • Texas A&M University Campus Spirit Plaza- Artistic consultant and creator of the drawings for the monuments
  • Texas A&M University System- commissioned to do artwork for the Board of Regent’s gifts (since 2008)
  • Plant Pathology and Microbiology Building Texas A&M University- Giant 10’ by 10’ main lobby art piece unveiled at the grand opening dedication.
  • Benjamin Knox 30th Anniversary Online Exhibit and Auction near sell out of 188 art pieces
  • Bosque Art Classic, Clifton TX
  • Wayne Stark Galleries, Texas A&M University- Group Show, College of Architecture Faculty

    2018

    • Doug Pitcock’49 Hotel and Conference Center, Texas A&M University Campus- Benjamin was commissioned to assist in the design of the art featured in every hotel room, consisting of Benjamin’s photography, drawings, and paintings in a black and white collage format
    • Brazos Valley Museum of Natural History- “The Brazos, Legacy of a Mighty River” Cover painting and fine art displayed as part of the exhibit

      2017

      • Embassy Suites by Hilton College Station- All 677 art pieces for the entire hotel created by Benjamin Knox. The regionally themed art is a diverse collection of Benjamin’s oil, watercolor, and acrylic paintings, large-scale photographs, and fine art reproductions. Each of the 162 guest rooms has a theme consisting of 4 art pieces. One of the main lobby art pieces is a large 10’ by 12’ eclectic sculpture and oil painting entitled “The Mechanisms of Education”
      • Texas A&M University School of Law Fort Worth, Texas- Commission of a large commemorative landscape oil painting for the main lobby of the Tarrant County Courthouse in Fort Worth
      • Wayne Stark Galleries, Texas A&M University- Group Show, College of Architecture Faculty

      2016

      • Pierre-Auguste Renoir, French Impressionist Exhibit with personal family photos and special guest lecturer Marie-Paule Renoir hosted at the Benjamin Knox Gallery and Art Center

      2014

      • Bastogne, Belgium War Museum- commissioned painting and exhibition art for the 70th anniversary of the Battle of the Bulge World War 2
      • Benjamin Knox, an Artist in Bastogne, Belgium book published by Benjamin Knox and sold at the Bastogne War Museum store

      2013

      • Texas A&M Sports Properties “Kyle Field Great Moments” –Benjamin created 8 large oil paintings depicting historical Texas A&M football events to commemorate Kyle Field, the football stadium renovation. Each painting was unveiled individually during each home football game throughout the season on the jumbo screens in front of 100,000 people. A portfolio of the 8 images was published by Benjamin Knox and sold to the public
      • Baylor Scott and White Hospital College Station- commissioned to create a giant oil painting landscape for the main lobby entitled “Medicine in the Brazos Valley”

      2012

      • The Old Post Office Museum and Art Center Graham, Texas- “Texas True, the Landscapes of Benjamin Knox Exhibit” one-man show

      2011

      • Texas A&M University Agriculture and Life Sciences- commissioned centennial painting
      • Texas A&M University Agriculture and Life Sciences Complex Grand Opening- “Texas Landscapes by Benjamin Knox Exhibit” first exhibit in the new convention hall.
      • Crested Butte Colorado Plein Air Invitational and exhibit at Oh Be Joyful Gallery

      2010

      • Health Science Center Texas A&M University- commissioned six large paintings for the lobby of the new main building

      2009

      • The Association of Former Students Texas A&M University- Intertwined Aggie Rings Bronze sculpture on the campus modeled after Benjamin’s design

      2008

      • commissioned two landscape paintings depicting the building, prints benefiting the Endowed Century Club
      • Texas A&M Sports Properties-Benjamin was asked to design the commemorative coin used for the coin toss at all home football games
      • Benjamin Knox was the official sponsor of the Texas A&M/ University of Oklahoma football game at Kyle Field.
      • Visions of Aggieland book published by Benjamin Knox, with forward by President George H. W. Bush and introduction by Texas Governor Rick Perry
      • The Benjamin Knox Art Center was dedicated as an addition to the Benjamin Knox Gallery. The facility now included art classes for all ages, event rental options, and a wine bar for the community.

      2007

      • Pebble Creek House designed by Benjamin Knox
      • Blue Bell Creameries Brenham, Texas- commissioned 100th anniversary painting used for promotional purposes, first day covers, and on the ice cream cartons

      2005

      • College Station Medical Center- commissioned large painting for the main lobby entitled “Life and Medicine”
      • Robert (22nd United States Secretary of Defense 2006-2011) and Becky Gates- commissioned to do their Christmas cards for 2004 and 2005 while President of Texas A&M University
      • Nimitz house cottage renovation designed by Benjamin Knox

      2004

      • The State of Texas- Benjamin was commissioned by Governor Rick Perry and Secretary of State Geoffrey Connor to create a painting of the state capitol to be the official gift of Texas
      • Texas Governor Rick and Anita Perry- commissioned to create their Christmas card
      • The Federation of Texas A&M Mother’s Clubs- dedicated their yearbook to Benjamin Knox

        2003

        • The Alamo, San Jacinto Monument, and the Daughters of the Republic of Texas- commissioned to design and create the Native Texan license plate
        • Chester Armstrong Gallery Telluride, Colorado- Telluride art print release, signing, and exhibit for jazz festival

        2002

        • Texas A&M University Class Councils, Silver Taps Remembrance Program, and the Class of 1998- commissioned Silver Taps painting, prints perpetually given to the families of fallen Aggies

        2001

        • Benjamin Knox opened his new gallery. He was the designer and developer of the exact replica of the College Station Train Depot (the namesake of the town of College Station) to be used as part of his gallery facility. Texas Governor Rick Perry and Margaret Rudder (wife of legend James Earl Rudder) were among the honored guests who dedicated the new facility.
        • Thomas Park House designed by Benjamin Knox
        • Texas A&M University-commissioned to create the 125th Anniversary Painting entitled “The Aggie Timeline”, prints led to the establishment of a $125,000 President’s Endowed Scholarship fund. Benjamin was asked to be the keynote luncheon speaker.

        1997

        • George Bush Presidential Library and Museum- Benjamin was the official artist for the dedication. He created the original paintings and drawings used for fine art prints, commemorative coins, t-shirts, book covers, product covers, and first day covers (created for the United States Postal Service) to be sold at the museum store. President Bush signed these items as special gifts and donations.

        1996

        • Texas Tech University- two paintings commissioned to be on the campus buses

        1995

        • Baylor University- commissioned painting for the school’s sesquicentennial

        1993

        • Benjamin dedicated his new commercial gallery at 404 University Drive, College Station

        1988

        • Benjamin officially began his professional art career out of his campus dorm room. His gallery was then conducted out of his home from 1990-1993
