Duties
- Measure, cut, assemble, and install custom frames using a variety of materials and tools to enhance artwork presentation
- Prepare artworks for framing by cleaning, mounting, matting, and applying protective finishes
- Operate a range of equipment including saws, cutters, and mounting machines to ensure accurate and efficient production processes
- Collaborate with clients and designers to select appropriate framing styles, colors, and materials that complement the artwork and meet client specifications
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining strict attention to detail and deadlines
- Conduct quality control checks on all finished products to ensure durability, safety, and visual appeal
- Maintain a clean, organized workspace adhering to safety standards and best practices in production environments
Qualifications
- Experience in art framing, production design, or related craftsmanship roles is preferable, but we will train the right candidates
- Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects effectively to complete by deadlines
- Effective communication skills preferable
